🤝 It’s All Who You Know 👥
Happy Monday!
Here is an Idea, an Action, and a Question to consider this week.
Idea
"Let your hook be always cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish.” — Ovid
If what you want doesn’t exist, create it yourself.
If, for example, you don’t have the network you want after putting in (≅) hundreds of hours of networking, then maybe it’s time you create your own group. This might look like:
Starting a casual, local meetup
Establishing a formal REIA
Hosting an online meetup
Creating a niche-focused Facebook group
By creating a meetup or group that provides valuable networking opportunities, you position yourself as a key resource for others seeking that same connection
Action
Do a 20-minute brainstorm session. Write down every kind of meetup you could possibly lead. No idea is too silly. At the 19-minute mark, circle the most interesting idea.
Then: Save it for later, do something with it today, or throw it away if it doesn’t have utility. The exercise alone is valuable, and it’s possible that the brainstorm session leads to something big down the line.
Question
Are you satisfied with your network of fellow real estate professionals?
See you next week,
