📚 Educate to Elevate
Happy Monday!
Here is an Idea, an Action, and a Question to consider this week.
Idea
Become obsessed with education.
Some people are hesitant to spend $690 on a seminar or even $12 on an audiobook that will advance their education, but they’re missing the big picture here! Don’t cheap out on yourself: the more you invest in you––in time, effort, and yes, money––the bigger your return will be.
All this education will increase your credibility and give you a chance to establish your new identity: The Investor-Agent.
With your newly-acquired knowledge, you’ll become a better conversationalist in the real estate space. People will inherently trust you because you speak like they do. When you are among investors, you’ll no longer be set apart as “the real estate agent”––you’ll become one of them, part of the crowd.
Stephen King once said, “If you don't have time to read, you don't have the time (or the tools) to write. Simple as that.”
Here’s what I’ll say: If you don’t have time to learn, you don’t have the time (or the tools) to work with investors. Simple as that.
Spend less on gadgets and gizmos, and more on your personal education. And then, watch the magic happen.
